The Tillman 1325 TIG glove answers the challenges TIG welders face. The 1325 offers a second layer of rough side out Goatskin strategically placed on the thumb and index/forefinger. The reinforcement rests above the crease of the thumb and fore finger to ensure finger movement is not restricted. With this reinforcement we had to make sure the tactile experience TIG welders require was not jeopardized it is not. When the glove was tested, we learned firsthand that the reinforcement still allowed for a great feel and also added a slight element that allowed for a great grip on a metal filler rod. The 1325 also offers an extended leather heat shield with rough side out Goatskin that runs from the wrist to the tip of the pinky for added heat protection and also provides added wear protection in this key area.
